Writing Contest Submission for Sentences I Never Thought I Would Say Or Hear: Volume Three

My submission with first line as requested to be added in

Time stretched and fit more time in itself.

These days more than any I've found more of myself

Always choose you and the love to give yourself

Never put yourself after anyone on the dusty bookshelf


Time doesn't always heal, but can be a surprise in disguise 

Better is always waiting in the form of a full-size high

A high of love, hugs, ambitions, and new hobby tries

I'll make it I know, because time stretched and made me more wise


My life used to be not what it is now, and that is a good thing

Every night filling glasses with alcohol, cheering with a cling

Finding time has been the best time to fit what life has to bring

Now I will continue loving being sober and celebrate me as a king
